KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures rose to their highest in a month on Monday evening, charting a fourth day of gains after supportive export data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB).

Malaysia, the second largest palm oil producer in the world, saw its palm oil stocks in January fall 6.75 percent month on month to 2.55 million tonnes.

Malaysia does not plan to impose a blanket ban on goods from the European Union (EU) as a retaliatory action against the bloc’s unfair treatment to palm oil biofuels.
