The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Thursday Feb 14.

Malaysian palm oil futures closed lower on Wednesday for a fourth consecutive session on back of weaker U.S. soyoil, reversing gains notched up earlier in the day.

CB Industrial Product Holding Bhd’s (CBIP) palm oil mill unit, PalmitEco Engineering Sdn Bhd, has won four palm oil contracts worth RM131.7mil to build a palm oil mill, kernel crushing plant, biogas power-generating plant and sterilisation palm oil mill.
